I can vividly remember when I was 15 and my parents took me to help select a casket for my younger brother.  The standard practices did not make much sense to me then and they make less sense to me now.  

I focused my PhD on policy research to understand why we have the practices that we do and how that impacts people's choices. 

The resources here are meant to help people do two things: plan and share.

1. Plan what you want for end of life both in care and in how your body (and property) is handled.
2. Share it.. Roosevelt wrote everything down and put it in a safe.  It was found several days after the exact opposite had been carried out.
